How would you describe your therapeutic style in three words?
-
Trauma-Informed: My clinical concentration in graduate school was in trauma.
-
Empowerment-based: I believe clients are the experts in their life and I'm here just to guide and support them on their trauma recovery journey.
-
Interactive: It's not all doom and gloom in trauma therapy. I enjoy getting to know my clients and sharing a laugh with them whether it's a funny story that happened over their week or their "dark humor."
What do you hope clients will take away from their experience working with you?
I hope my clients get symptom reduction and feel heard and understood in therapy.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor or dessert?
Chocolate chip mint ice cream.
